The bridge school is sponsored by the ILACY Bridge Club, classes are conducted by The Ferguson Group and is presented on the internet through Bridge Base Online. This online book teaches modern contract bridge bidding based on the Standard American method of bidding as embodied in the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Standard American Yellow Card System (SAYC). The emphasis of this online book is teaching intermediate standard bidding systems (sequences and conventions).

American Contract Bridge League (ACBL)

	The American Contract Bridge League, the sponsoring bridge organization in North America, and the ACBL Educational Foundation sponsor two learn to play bridge programs which teach the basics of modern contract bridge. ILACY Bridge Club supports and encourages new bridge players to take the time take these two FREE Learn to Play Bridge instructional programs. The programs can be taken online at BBO or downloaded for free on the ACBL website.
